I know the book is named after him, but he's not the main character. The graphic novel seems to think that Nicholas is the main character. You don't really connect with them, because you don't get to know them. Without those introspective moments and interactions between them, the twins feel a bit empty as characters. They also took out a LOT of the twin's interactions with each other. In the original, there is more introspective to what the twins are feeling and thinking during the course of the book. ![]() This graphic novel is pretty faithful to the original novel, but some things got lost in transferring mediums that hurt the story a bit. I was very excited to read this since I remember loving The Alchemyst years ago when it first came out.
